The revision was submitted by Peabody Sage Creek Mining, <br />LLC. All review and comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate from <br />this date of filing. <br /> <br />Peabody Sage Creek Mining, LLC. has submitted this Technical Revision (TR-09) for Division <br />approval to modify the hydrologic monitoring plan. The proposed revised plan will eliminate <br />monitoring of several spoil spring sites, suspend monitoring of several wells while the mine is idle, <br />modify the frequency for bedrock and alluvial well monitoring, discontinue monitoring at Pond <br />004 since two additional upstream monitoring points have been initiated and the addition of a <br />qualifier that certain monitoring parameters will only be measured if the flow is less than 1 gallon <br />per minute at all stream and spring monitoring sites. The applicant is not proposing additional <br />surface disturbance outside of the area currently approved for disturbance. <br /> <br />The underground coal mining operation is on land located approximately 9 miles Southeast of <br />Hayden.
