<br />Twentymile Coal, LLC (TC), 29515 Routt

<br />60467, has submitted an application for a
<br />Technical Revisions (TR) to the Foidel Creek
<br />Mine, Permit Number C-62-056. The revi-
<br />sion (TR16-84) addresses a modification to
<br />the existing approved mining and reclama
<br />tion plans to include a passive water treat
<br />ment system to treat mine water in order to
<br />meet applicable water quality effluent limita-
<br />tions. The proposed treatment system will
<br />utilize a series of fou treatment cells with
<br />both open water ponded areas and con-
<br />structed wetlands to reduce iron, sulfates,
<br />and dissolved solids in the mine water prior
<br />to dischargeto F'shCreek The combination
<br />of open -water (aerobic.) and wetland
<br />(ansrobic) will maximize natural y -occurring
<br />physical, chemical, and biological treatment
