No. ________________ <br /> <br /> v. <br /> <br />VARCA VENTURES, INC., and <br />WILDCAT MINING CORPORATION, <br /> <br /> Defendants. <br /> <br />______________________________________________________________________________ <br /> <br />NOTICE OF LODGING <br /> <br />______________________________________________________________________________ <br /> <br />Plaintiff United States of America hereby gives notice of the lodging of a proposed Consent <br />Decree, which is attached to this Notice. On August 8, 2016, Plaintiff filed a Complaint against <br />Defendants Varca Ventures, Inc., and Wildcat Mining Corporation in the above-captioned action. <br />The proposed Consent Decree will resolve the claims set forth in the Complaint. <br />Pursuant to 28 C.F.R. § 50.7, notice of the proposed Consent Decree will be published in <br />the Federal Register, and the public shall be provided with at least thirty days within which to submit <br />comments. The United States reserves the right to withhold or withdraw its consent to entry of the <br />proposed Consent Decree if the comments received disclose facts which lead the United States to <br />conclude that the proposed judgment is inappropriate, improper, or inadequate. <br />After the comment period of at least thirty days has expired, the United States will inform <br />the Court and Defendants as to whether the Attorney General has determined to withdraw consent <br />to the proposed Consent Decree or to proceed with filing a motion for entry of the proposed <br />Consent Decree. In the former case, the parties will file a joint status report.
