Great basin <br />wild rye, sage, yarrow, arrow leaf balsam root, penstemon, alfalfa, flax, barley, and other desirable species were <br />observed. Desirable grass and herbaceous cover was present. A few weed patches were noted, some of which had <br />recently been treated. Healthy and diverse vegetation was found in all but one proposed area to the west, A-C-04. <br />A-C-04 is divided into a 1.8 acre area and a 3.4 acre area. They are on CO state lands. The 3.4 acre area has some <br />desirable species and some noxious weeds. Vegetation transects were taken within the 3.4 acre area, which passed <br />vegetative criteria.
