July 6, 2016 C-1981-010/Trapper Mine TNL <br /> <br /> <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 1 <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 0 <br /> <br /> Page 4 of 8 <br /> <br /> <br />Drainage reconstruction in former D-pit <br /> <br />GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br /> During the review of the vegetation data prior to the inspection, the vegetation sampling was found to be <br />in compliance with Rule 4.15.11(1) and the permit application, with the exception of the revegetation monitoring <br />reports data allowed cover from Cheatgrass (Bromus tectorum) to contribute to the allowable cover percentage for <br />some of the transects this species was found in. Cheatgrass is listed as a List C noxious weed. The Division is <br />unable to allow plant species listed on the State Noxious Weed list (Department of Agriculture, Conservation <br />Services Division, 8 CCR 1206-2: Rules Pertaining to the Administration and Enforcement of the Colorado <br />Noxious Weed Act1) to contribute to reclamation success. <br /> <br />RECLAMATION SUCCESS - Rule 4.15, Rule 3: <br /> The first parcels inspected were in former F pit, AB rangeland, seeded between 2001 and 2005 (F-AB-01, <br />F-AB-02, F-AB-03, F-AB-04, and F-AB-05 parcels. Vegetation was dominated by desirable species included in <br />the prescribed seed mix. Shrub clumps were present and healthy in these parcels. The northern portion of these <br />parcels fall on CO state owned surface the southern portions fall in TMI owned surface. A drainage corridor not <br />included in the release application runs through the parcels.
