Box 773598 <br />Steamboat Springs, CO 80477 <br />Re: Hayden Gulch Loadout (Permit No. C-1992-081) <br />Technical Revision No. 11 (TR -11) <br />Hydrology Monitoring Plan Update <br />Dear Routt County Commissioners: <br />The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety hereby issues notice, in accordance with Title 34, <br />Article 33, Section 116, Paragraph 4, of the Colorado Revised Statutes, that on August 11, 2016 an <br />application to revise coal mining operations at the Hayden Gulch Loadout was considered <br />complete for the purposes of filing. The revision was submitted by Hayden Gulch Terminal, LLC. <br />All review and comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate from this date <br />of filing. <br />Hayden Gulch Terminal, LLC proposes to reduce the frequency and sampling parameters for <br />surface and ground water monitoring at the Hayden Gulch load out. The applicant is not proposing <br />additional surface disturbance outside of the area currently approved for disturbance. <br />The loadout coal mining operation is on land located approximately 2 miles Southeast of Hayden, <br />Colorado. The permit area is further described as follows: <br />Portions of. E1/2 Sec. 10, W1/2,SE1/4, and SWI/4 Sec. 14, E1/2E1/2 Sec. 15, NE1/4 Sec. 22, <br />N1/2NW1/4 Sec. 23, S1/2N1/2, and NW1/4 Sec. 24, Township 6 North, Range 88 West of the 6th <br />P.M. Portions of. SWI/4, SEI/4, and NEI/4 Sec.17, SEI/4 Sec. 18, N1/2 Sec. 19, Township 6 <br />North, Range 87 West of the 6th Principal Meridian. <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on the following USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle <br />map(s): Mount Harris. <br />1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, CO 80203 P 303.866.3567 F 303.832.8106 http://mining.state.co.us <br />John W.
