PERMIT#: M-1978-071 <br /> INSPECTOR'S INITIALS: TfIM <br /> INSPECTION DATE: July 14,2016 <br /> OBSERVATIONS <br /> This inspection was conducted as part of the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety's (Division) normal <br /> monitoring program.The operator, Patrick Sullivan, was present during the inspection. Photographs are <br /> included with this report that depict the site conditions observed during the inspection. <br /> The Del Norte Pit is located approximately 1 mile north of DI Norte and accessed from County Road 22.The <br /> site is a 112c operation that includes a total of 35 permitted acres. <br /> The mine identification sign and affected area boundary markers are in place and in compliance with rule <br /> 3.1.12. The permit boundary is comprised of a fencing and markers around the entire perimeter of the mine. <br /> The site was active during the inspection. Various stockpiles of construction material were observed around <br /> the permit area. A hot plant was also operating during the inspection. Various storage tanks were observed <br /> within the permit area. All storage tanks appeared to have adequate secondary containment. <br /> The western pond appeared to be adequately revegetated and graded. <br /> No noxious weeds were observed during the inspection. <br /> No off-site damage, significant erosional features or unnecessary debris was observed within the permit area. <br /> The site was in a very orderly condition during the inspection. <br /> No problems or possible violations were observed. <br /> Responses to this inspection report should be directed to Travis Marshall at the Division of Reclamation, <br /> Mining and Safety, Grand Junction Field Office, 101 South 3rd Street, Room 301, Grand Junction, Colorado <br /> 81501, phone no. 970-241-2042. <br /> Page 2 of 4 <br />
