EXHIBIT 27, ITEM 1
Eight drill holes (CHR -16 through CHR -23) will be drilled between Little Collom Gulch and the
West Fork of Jubb Creek (please see Figure Exh. 27, Item 1). Drill hole depths will range from
15 feet to 70 feet penetration which is determined by the final grade of the facilities.
Two drill holes (CHR -24 and CHR -25) will be drilled near County Road 51 (please see Figure
Exh. 27, Item 1). Drill hole depths will consist of at least 70 feet or 20 feet of penetration into
bedrock.
Three drill holes (CHR -26 though CHR -28) will be drilled near the West Fork of Jubb Creek
along the Collom Haul Road alignment (please see Figure Exh. 27, Item 1). Drill hole depths
will consist of at least 70 feet or 20 feet of penetration into bedrock.
Seven drill holes (CHR -29 through CHR -35) will be drilled along and directly adjacent to the
existing Colowyo paved haul road (please see Figure Exh. 27, Item 1). Drill hole depths will
consist of at least 70 feet or 20 feet of penetration into bedrock. Drill holes CHR -29 through
CHR -33 will be drilled outside of the required stream buffer zone (greater than 100') on Taylor
Creek. Drill holes CHR -34 and CHR -35 will be drilled within the stream buffer zone along
Taylor Creek; however, both holes will be drilled adjacent to the pavement on the existing haul
road in an area that has already been disturbed by mining activities.
Nine drill holes (CHR -36 through CHR -44) will be drilled with the facilities area for the Collom
Mine (please see Figure Exh. 27, Item 1). Drill hole depths will consist of at least 70 feet or 20
feet of penetration into bedrock.
III. BACLFILLING OF DRILLED HOLES
Since all borings will be shallow and not intended to penetrate subsurface coal seams the drill
holes will be backfilled with drill cuttings and marked with a wooden stake. Drill-hole locations
will be surveyed and mapped for future reference during road construction.
Exh. 27, Item 1-2 Revision Date: 5/20/16
Revision No.: MR -150
