<br />Re: 2015 Annual Hydrology Reports for Seneca II West Mine (C1982-057), Yoast Mine
<br />(C 1994-082), Hayden Gulch Load Out (C 1992-081), and Williams Fork Mines (C 1981-044)
<br />Dear Mr. Nettleton:
<br />Rule 4.05.13(4)(c) requires that a hydrologic report be submitted to the Division annually, with
<br />the date of submittal determined in consultation with the permittee for each permit. The Division
<br />has not received the 2015 Annual Hydrology reports for the four above named permits. The
<br />Annual Hydrology Reports (AHR) were due to the Division on March 31, 2016.
<br />The Williams Fork Mines AHR is required to include data from January 1, 2015 to December
<br />31, 2015. (Rule 4.05.13(4)(b). At this time, seven months have passed since the end of the data
<br />collection period. On March 25, 2016, the Division received a request to extend the submittal
<br />due date of the Williams Fork Mines 2015 AHR until May 5, 2016. On May 5, 2016, Moffat
<br />County Mining requested an extension for submittal of the 2015 AHR until July 29, 2016.
<br />The Seneca II West AHR is required to include hydrology data from the water year spanning
<br />October 1, 2014, to September 30, 2015. At this time, ten months have passed since the end of
<br />the 2015 water year. On March 9, 2016, Seneca Property, LLC (SP, LLC) requested an
<br />extension until April 30, 2016 for submittal of the 2015 AHR. On June 22, 2016, the Division
<br />received a request from SP, LLC to extend the time for submittal of the 2015 AHR until July 29,
<br />2016.
<br />The Yoast Mine AHR is required to include hydrology data from the water year spanning
<br />October 1, 2014, to September 30, 2015. At this time, ten months have passed since the end of
<br />the 2015 water year. On March 9, 2016, SP, LLC requested an extension until April 30, 2016 for
<br />submittal of the 2015 AHR. On June 22, 2016, the Division received a request from SP, LLC to
<br />extend the time for submittal of the 2015 AHR until July 29, 2016.
