Once
established it is difficult to control or eradicate due to it’s early season seed production. Late winter or
early spring detection and treatment may prevent seeds from developing, as it flowers mid spring.

Before Bromus tectorum goes to seed in spring, spot treatment with a glyphosate product containing
surfactant can help. In the fall prior to a hard frost, treatment with a preemergent containing a MSO
surfactant can be beneficial for prevention. Another option includes continuous mowing before seed
debelopment, until lifecycle of the grass ends.

AIR RESOURCE PROTECTION - Rule 4.17
o Fugitive dust was being generated as the scraper moved about the site.
