MANAGEMENT <br />r C <br />pN1SIGN OF RECIpp' .YAG,; , <br />On behalf of Bowie Resources LLC, enclosed is an application for a technical revision to suspend the <br />monitoring of stations that are no longer considered necessary or do not provide useful <br />information. Regarding suspension of pond monitoring, the potential for significant mine impacts <br />to adversely affect ponds is low. The following table lists the monitoring points and the reason for <br />suspension. <br />Monitoring Point <br />Reason for Suspension <br />Suspension <br />Permanent <br />SM -01, SM -05, SM06, SM -07, SM -09, SM -10, SM -11 <br />These wells were installed in 1985 to <br />YES <br />gather information on identified <br />alluvial colluvial deposits. The wells <br />have shown consistent water levels <br />which indicates the underground <br />workings have not affected the alluvial <br />colluvial deposits. Only SM -07 has <br />been undermined. SM -10 frequently <br />does not have adequate water to <br />obtain a sample. The SM wells do not <br />provide any useful information. <br />B-5, B-6, B-8 <br />These wells were installed to monitor <br />YES <br />unacceptable saturation of the fills. B- <br />5, B-6 and B-8 have been dry during all <br />monitoring events. The wells show no <br />saturation ofthe fills has occurred. The <br />wells will not provide any additional <br />useful information. <br />P1001 <br />Pond 10-1 is a man made pond <br />YES <br />(approximately 20' x 20') with an <br />earthen berm located on the south <br />side.
