The <br />inspection was completed by Tabetha Lynch and Dan Hernandez with the Colorado Division of Reclamation, <br />Mining and Safety. Graham Roberts with Trapper Mine was present during the inspection. The weather was clear <br />and roads were dry. All areas of the mine were accessible at the time of inspection. <br />AIR RESOURCE PROTECTION – Rule 4.17: <br /> Water trucks were operating during the inspection keeping road dust to a minimum. <br /> <br />AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS – Rule 5.02.4(1): <br /> The mine records were checked at the mine office. See end of the report for details. Seismographs need to <br />be calibrated on an annual basis and certificates should be available for review. <br /> <br />BACKFILL and GRADING – Rule 4.14 <br />Contemporaneous Reclamation 4.14.1; Approximate Original Contour 4.14.2; Highwall Elimination 4.14.1(2)(f); <br />Steep Slopes 4.14.2, 4.27; Handling of Acid and Toxic Materials 4.14.3; Stabilization of Rills and Gullies 4.14.6: <br /> The Operator is concurrently backfilling behind the mining operations. <br /> <br />EXPLOSIVES – Rule 4.08 <br />Distance Prohibitions 4.08.4; Warnings 4.08.4; Control of Adverse Effects 4.08.4: <br /> Blasting signals were checked for a parting shot at the north end of L-pit at 12:40pm and found to be <br />compliance with permit requirements. <br /> <br />FISH and WILDLIFE – Rule 4.18: <br /> Various wildlife were observed during the inspection including pronghorn antelope, elk, and Dusky <br />Grouse.
