Pipe Route
The temporary fresh water source will originate at the Altman Pump station and be conveyed to
site through the existing Bull Hill 1 12 inch line. The water will then be piped via Pipeline E, a 10
inch pipe, which carries water to the ADR2. Pipeline E will be intercepted near the Load Out Bin.
A series of fittings and valves will be put in to allow water to be pumped/directed into a new 8"
line. The new line will be laid on the surface and run parallel to the Delivery haul road. The line
will be buried at haul road crossings on the way up to the Mill water tank. The new 8" line will be
spliced into the current mill tank feed line just above the control valves at the tank. Figures 1
and 2 below show the trace of the new line from the tie in to the Pipeline E up to the mill tank
tie-in. The water will then gravity flow in existing lines back to the HGM.
AM
 f
r
 a
w.
r
.µ
i
w r 9
Figure 1.
