Public Works Control and Eradication Weed Species — List B <br />Weld County Road 49 Corridor The Colorado Department of Agriculture also placed a number cf species <br />Permits on Ihe'19 list'. Plants on the •B List lave the potential to be very <br />Invasive ncxIous weeds that quickly transform an area. These plants are <br />GravelRaads typically already established in Colorado. However, on a local level (i.e, <br />in Weld County) they may just be moving in. Therefore• the species on <br />Paved Roads the 'S Ilsl' will have at least ccntrr.Usuclomssion requirements and may <br />have eradication requirements. Some species may be listed as both <br />Bridges contrd/suppression and eradlcatio n based on the location of the <br />Roadside Treat Infestations <br />The Colorado Department of Agriculture has worked very closely with <br />Borraw0liches Counties to determine the control requirements of the species listed on <br />Culverts the 'B list fox the speeffic Counties in Colorado. Therefore, the control <br />requirements for'S list' species can be different tram County to County. <br />Cattle Guards Keep In mind; the noxious weeds mandated for control are planes that are <br />Transportation Planning rawmtive to North America. Consequently, these plants da not have the <br />natural checks found in their native land such as Insects cr diseases. <br />Traffic and Signing Due to the competitive aggressive nature of these plants they tend Io out <br />compete our native vegetation by forming mares -cultures.
