Reclamation growth continues to develop and mature in the 2014
planting area. Release is possible in 2017. Previously released
reclamation continues in excellent condition. No evidence of overgrazing.
2. Weeds seem to be declining due to various controls and possibly
beneficial effects from grazing. Locally still a problem, but those areas
are becoming fewer and fewer compared to previous years. Cheatgrass Tributary streams
remains the worst weed and is abundant most everywhere on disturbed
as well as undisturbed land. Varies annually depending on how wet the ` . Backfilling and grading increased some in the last
year, but a small amount of previously backfilled land was returned to
active mining. That amount is minor and needed to make room. 2016 Operation Status Map
4.
