Water associated with relief points for the
paved section of the Haul Road is collected at the sumps. Each sump was dry and no erosion was observed over
the road as well as the discharge point of each sump.

The West Taylor Pond was inspected and held water. The pond was discharge at the time of the inspection and a
reading of 0.03 (0.01 cubic ft. per second) at the associated 9” flume was recorded. The embankment was well
vegetated. Weed spraying had occurred prior to the inspection and dead thistle was observed along the
embankment. The primary discharge was clear of debris and the emergency spillway was well protected. No issues
were observed.

The East Taylor Pond held water and was discharge at the time of the inspection. A reading at the associated 30”
flume was recorded at 0.03 or 0.04 cubic ft. per second. The discharge was clear and no issues were observed.
Embankments were stable and well vegetated. Both primary and emergency spillways were in working order.

The West Pit Pond was dry during the inspection. It was observed that the pond had been cleaned within the last
year. The embankments were stable and additional previous weed sprayed areas were observed around the pond.
