in swales and berms filtering sediment, releasing storm water onto undisturbed areas
at historic flow rates wherever possible. Stormwater BMPs (berms, swales and
detention basins) will be constructed of overburden and/or mining fines.
Setbacks are required from two manmade structures. Colorado Interstate
Gas requests a 50 foot setback from the centerline of the high pressure gas line.
Xcel Energy requests a 100 foot longitudinal setback along the easements from each
structure and a perpendicular setback from the structure to the edge of the
easement.
Groundwater is not expected to be exposed at this excavation elevation;
therefore no impact to the hydrologic balance is anticipated. No acid or toxic
producing materials will be exposed during mining. No explosives will be used in
conjunction with mining or reclamation.
7
Edited June 6, 2016
