CC&V is requesting approximately 42.9 acres, <br /> which includes roughly 35.2 acres in the Goldfield area and 7.7 acres in the Squaw Gulch/Gold Run area, <br /> be released from the M-I980-244 permit boundary due to an inability to secure legal right to enter certain <br /> lands in these areas. Accompanying this request is a map showing the acres to be released from the <br /> permit area and a list of affected property owners,addresses and phone numbers. A new boundary was <br /> propsed as part of the Amended Amendment 11 application,which was submitted on February 16,2016. <br /> A notice to the public will be published in the Iocal newspaper,the Pikes Peak Courier. Proof of notice <br /> will be provided to the Division once published. <br /> The reclamation plan and financial cost warranty included with Amendment 10 and subsequent Technical <br /> Revisions will not change as a result of this request. As we previously discussed,these lands are not part <br /> of CC&V's active mining area nor have they ever been within the affected lands boundary of the Cresson <br /> Project. <br /> We appreciate a timely response to this matter.
