Safety Natural Soda LLC and Daub & Associates, Inc. are committed to safe workplace practices and compliance to Federal, State and local laws and regulations. The following policies must be accepted and adhered to by all employees, associates and clients. • Gerry Deschaine (Risk & Sustainability Superintendent) with Natural Soda (888-464-7632 ext. 125) needs to meet with all personnel working on the drilling programs located on the NS Lease before the start of the projects to go through a Reguired NS Safety Briefing. • All persons working on the Natural Soda Property must attend a NS Safety Briefing, no exceptions. • Daub, Drilling Companies, and all Third party contractors will need to keep Mr. Deschaine in the loop on arrival of new crews to NS, so that they can be briefed. • All personnel staying in the onsite man camp will all be under the same rules as the production well crews, no drugs, no alcohol, no firearms or ammunition, and no pets. • Back in parking will be preferred, and normal rules of courtesy about limiting noise are to be followed. • All personnel will follow the rules and regulation set forth in the Conditions of Approval (COA) by the BLM and the County of Rio Blanco. • All personnel will conduct themselves in a professional manner. Harassment of any type is not allowed and will not be tolerated by management. Harassment includes any verbal or physical conduct that interferes with an individual's work performance or creates an intimidating, hostile or offensive working environment. • Report accidents and injuries immediately to authorities/management as required by the Program and regulations; ensure that all operations comply with both the law and the Program. • The use of illegal drugs, controlled substances, alcohol, fireworks, ammunition or firearms is prohibited during work activities (including the Man Camp Location) and will result in immediate dismissal. Use of prescription or over-the-counter drugs that may impair your ability to work should be reported to NS/ Daub management. • No Dogs or Pets will be allowed in or around Rig working areas or at the Man Camp. • Proper PPE must be worn in or around drilling operation work areas at all times. Hard Hat, Gloves, Eye Protection, Ear Protection, Steel Toe Boots, Long/Short Sleeve Shirts, High visibility vest/outer layer, Long Pants, Coveralls are optional but approved. • Good housekeeping is necessary to maintain a safe working environment. All walking/work areas, equipment, tools, fire extinguishers and safety materials shall be kept clean and in working order. Tools should be kept in good working condition, placed appropriately as to not cause a hazard, promptly stored after use and replaced if defective. • Smoking is only allowed in designated areas. Food should be stored separately from chemicals and eaten in designated areas. • Adverse weather conditions can present a risk to site health and safety. Daub expects that good judgment and common sense be used during periods of adverse weather. Site specific severe weather plans and driving rules shall be reviewed by all individuals. • Visitors to location should be identified, signed in and escorted. • All persons associated with the project are subject to prosecution for knowingly disturbing paleontological or archaeological sites, or for collecting artifacts or fossils. If artifacts or fossil materials are uncovered during any project or construction activities, the operator is to immediately stop any activities in the immediate area of the find that might further disturb such materials, and immediately contact the supervisor or authorized officer.
