6/30/2016 State.co.us Executive Branch Mail-Boundary signs and mine entrance
STATE OF Cunningham - DNR, Michael <michaela.cunningham@state.co.us>
COLORADO
Boundary signs and mine entrance
1 message
stephsquarters <stephsquarters@yahoo.com> Wed, Jun 29, 2016 at 7:27 AM
To: "Cunningham - DNR, Michael" <michaela.cunningham@state.co.us>
Michael,
These warm days have helped us out. We were able to get around the few drifts that are left!
Here's some pics of our corrected entry sign and boundary signs. I only included 2 boundary sign pics but there are 10
up there. We have them on the top corners where we border the Combination, anywhere the road crosses our line and
where hikers might come across from the south, southwest.
There is some debate in our camp as to where the signs should be. My logic says they should be on the permitted
mining area. Ken believes they should extend to the lower ponds. He also said you thought our entrance sign should be
down by the gate. My issue with that is that there are several other people actively working claims on the hill, one guy
doing stuff below our site and a few that use the old county road to travel up above us. They all use the same gate. We
put up the signage about mining ahead to deter hikers, hunters and the general public but to place out permit number
there gives the wrong impression that we are the sole entity up there. Obviously, you're driving the bus on that and any
of the signs could be relocated easily if you want them moved. We do own the land at the gate and a pretty good buffer
around our permitted area.
Thank you for your patience and assistance.
Stephanie Tunstall
Eagle Peaks Mining
M 1985-022
Sent via the Samsung GALAXY S®5,an AT&T 4G LTE smartphone
3 attachments
20160625_171448.jpg
9180 K
EMU PEaliS
iILtGER f51V P4J"E? <
e-" rfiA11f i+N14854 -
`=* 20160625_170418.jpg
10067K
20160625_171925.j pg
https://m ai l.google.com/m ai I/u/O/?ui=2&i k=3a 1 d83e556&vi ew=pt&search=i nbox&th=l 559d5bOc 1 cfbcc2&s i m I=1559d5bOc 1 cfbcc2 1/2
