You currently hold a bond in the amount of$3,250. The operation was completed on 6/26/2015 with complete reclamation and reseeding of the disturbed site as described in the enclosed reclamation report. I have continued to monitor the site for the past year and vegetation started to establish and there are no signs of erosion. Aided by ample spring precipitation in 2016 more seeds germinated and the vegetation, albeit still sparse, is well established throughout the project area. I therefore request to bond reduction to $1,000, i.e., a refund of $2,250. The original bond estimate was based on refilling the prospect hole, road reclamation, access gate removal, and rebuilding the original roadside berm, with the main cost factor the use of machinery (bulldozer) including machine operator. All these tasks have been performed and no more machine use would be required. As follow up work I estimate a worst case scenario of some reseeding of south facing well drained slope aspects. Considering including walk to project site I estimate no more than 8 hours of work would be necessary, including seeds and transportation should not exceed $1,000 if performed by an independent contractor.
