Box 1424 <br /> Edwards, CO 81632 <br /> Area Involved <br /> The Sacramento Creek Reclamation Project occurs on Sacramento Creek Reclaimation Placer Mining Claim - <br /> CMC#288277. See Exhibit 1 for aerial view of site. The claim is described as follows: <br /> N% SW'/ NE'/ of Section 36, Township 9 South, Range 78 West, 6rn Principal Meridian <br /> Affected area one acre. See Exhibit 2. <br /> Nature of Proposed Operations <br /> AuPt Industries LLC plans to remove an existing mine waste pile from the Sacramento Gulch drainage in Park <br /> County. The pile is rich in metallic sulfide compounds that potentially cause acid generating waste. Removing <br /> the piles will aid in the clean up of the South Platte River. Clean up will be provided by AuPt Industries. <br /> The mine waste pile will be moved off-site for per-concentration and milling. The valuable fraction of the waste <br /> pile will be removed and shipped to licensed smelters and the rest of the material will be disposed of properly in <br /> accordance with all environmental regulation. Once the mine waste pile is removed, AuPt industries will rec- <br /> lamate the site to an improved condition. <br /> The operation will consists of an excavator and a front loader. Haul trucks would enter the site from an existing <br /> spur off of Road 14. A loader would load trucks on the existing concrete pad. Local contractors will be used for <br /> the on-site excavation and removal aspects of this project. <br />
