Climax Molybdenum Company HENDERSON MINE & MILL SWMP <br />Empire & Parshall, CO December, 2011 <br />Page 5-6 <br />Henderson utilizes multiple training forums to provide adequate training, including: <br /> <br />Training Forum Description <br />New Hire Orientation <br />(within 30-days of hiring) <br />This training includes SWMP introduction, spill <br />prevention/response, good housekeeping, and hazardous <br />materials management. <br />Contractor Awareness <br />Training (prior to <br />beginning work on-site) <br />The contractor environmental pamphlet and awareness <br />training video (mill) training provides SWMP introduction, <br />spill prevention/response, good housekeeping, and hazardous <br />materials management. <br />On the Job (continual) This training includes area and job specific storm water BMP <br />measures and drainages. <br />Environmental Refresher <br />Training - Employees and <br />Contractors (annual) <br />This training reinforces SWMP components and goals, mine <br />operations and control features utilized to prevent storm <br />water contamination from occurring. <br />Additional training shall be provided to affected employees when a new hazard is introduced <br />that could potentially affect storm water management. Records of this training shall be <br />maintained by the Environmental Department or the Human Resources Department per the <br />Environmental Records procedures within Henderson’s Environmental Management System. <br />
