Colorado Public Works Department
1060 Fast 2"1 Ave
Dur;ingo, CO 81301
(970)382-6363
June 15, 2016
State of Colorado
Division of Minerals & Geology
1313 Sherman St. Room 215
Denver, CO 80203
Re: Permit# M-1981-114
2015 Annual Report & Fee for Crader Gravel Pit,
To whom it may concern:
The attached map shows where mining activity occurred in 2015 at the La Plata County
Crader Gravel Pit, and a check for the annual permit fee in the amount of$791.00. In 2015,
27,803 tons of gravel was mined and processed at the Crader Pit.
Continuous disturbance in the pit is a perfect situation for noxious weeds to invade. Under
Colorado State Statute CRS title 35, Article 5.5, Colorado Noxious Weed Act, La Plata County
Government is mandated to manage the "B List" noxious weeds growing in Crader Pit and
prevent their spread on a continuous basis. Weeds identified and treated on an annual basis
as needed.
If you have any questions, my phone number is (970) 382-6372.
Sincerely,
Jim Davis, P.E.
  Director of blic Works
