��' <br />TWENTYMILE COAL COMPANY <br />• 2, Electro -coagulation Container Installation <br />2.1. The electro -coagulation equipment is housed in a 40' x 8' shipping container. The <br />container will be set with the door end facing west. The end of the container will be set on the <br />poured building foundation extending into the building approximately 1 foot. The other portion <br />of the container extending outside of the building will be set on 4 poured concrete piers. The <br />siding and interior liner of the building will be fitted and flashed to the container on the walls <br />and roof. <br />3. Feed and Discharge Pipe lines <br />3.1. The existing plumbing that is located in the covered culvert outside of the caustic soda <br />building will be relocated in the building. The contractor shall supply the necessary pipe and <br />fittings to install these lines. The contractor will be responsible for excavating and proper <br />bedding and backfilling of all pipes as per the manufactures installation instructions. The lines <br />are approximately 50' in length each. <br />3.1.1. Deep well discharge line -This will be the feed water into the building. It will be tied into <br />existing line that comes from the North and South deep well pumps. It will stub into the <br />building on the West wall. The pipe will have a clearance of 18" from the wall to facilitate <br />plumbing connections. <br />3.1.2. Finished product line- This line will come out of the 5000 gallon tank and will exit the <br />building on the South wall and will discharge into the #1 settling pond. This line can run <br />above ground as long as it is sloped downward to prevent freezing. <br />• 3.1.3. Excess flow reject line- This line will also exit the building on the South wall and will be <br />tied into the existing reject line that runs to the old mine vent shaft. <br />0 <br />4. Control valves and flow meter plumbing <br />4.1. The following plumbing in the building will be 6" schedule 40 welded steel pipe with ANSI 150 <br />Ib flanges and valves. The plumbing will be installed as per the supplied schematic although <br />locations of components can be adjusted as necessary. All piping will be adequately <br />supported and anchored <br />4.1.1. Electro -coagulation feed line. The deep well feed pump will be connected to the <br />storage tank. <br />4.1.1.1. A motorized valve will be supplied and installed in this line. The valve shall be <br />120 volt AC motor with a 4-20 Ma position input as well as a 4-20 Ma valve position <br />indicator feedback. The motorized valve circuit will be plumbed with a bypass line <br />and fitted with isolation valves on both sides of the motorized valve. <br />4.1.1.2. A McCrometer 6" flow meter will be installed in the line downstream of the <br />bypass. It will need to be placed the appropriate distance from elbows and valves as <br />per the manufactures instructions. The flow meter is supplied with grooved ends. <br />TCC will supply the flow meter. <br />4.1.1.3. The line will be then be plumbed to the storage tank with the appropriate <br />connections. <br />4.1.2.
