MR -100 was
deemed complete on June 14, 2016. The Division finished its review and has the following comments:
1. Map 3.02.2-2 Current Bond Release Status New Horizon #1 and #2 Mines is being requested for
removal. While the information on this map is mostly outdated and is not required by the Rules, this is
the only map in the current permit that shows the location of the remaining NH acres. The Division
requests that this map remain in the permit until the NH1 acres are removed through the bond release
process.
2. Map 3.02.2-10 Mount Nucla Out of Pit Stockpile is being requested for removal. The Division does not
have this map on file as being in the permit but does have Map 3.02.2-9 BB Detour Road Fill and
Topsoil Stockpiles. Both of these maps are no longer relevant because the structures no longer exist
and will be removed from the permit files.
If you have any questions, please contact me at (303) 866-3567 ext 8142.
Sincerely,
a 4---L
Brock Bowles
Environmental Protection Specialist
brock.bowles@state.co.us
1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, CO 80203 P 303.866.3567 F 303.832.8106 http://mining.state.co.us
John W.
