a <br /> CAMAS Colorado Page 2 <br /> Longmont Distal Operations Permit Application Package <br /> 2.0 EXHIBIT A- LEGAL DESCRIPTION <br /> Longmont Property <br /> The proposed expansion of the Longmont Distel Operations includes the development of <br /> two parcels of leased land with a total area of approximately 240 acres. The Longmont <br /> property consists of approximately 98 acres, located south of St. Vrain Creek. This <br /> property is located to the east and northeast of the Distel property, an existing permitted <br /> mine property. The south end of the Longmont property has already been permitted for <br /> future development with a previous amendment to Regular 112 Operation Mining and <br /> Reclamation Permit M-89-029 and Regular 112 Operation Mining and Reclamation <br /> Permit M-89-029. <br /> The legal description of the Longmont property follows: <br /> Parcel 30 and 31: The East half(E1/2)of the Southeast quarter(SE1/4), and <br /> the Southeast quarter (SE1/4) of the Northeast quarter (NE1/4) of Section <br /> eight (8), Township two (2) North, Range sixty-eight (68) West of the 6' <br /> P.M.,Weld County, Colorado; <br /> AND, that portion of the Southeast quarter (SEl/4) of the Northeast quarter <br /> (NEl/4) of the Northeast quarter (NE1/4) of said Section eight (8), lying <br /> Southeasterly of the right of way for ingress and egress hereinafter described. <br /> Parcel 32: The Northwest quarter(NW1/4) of the Southeast quarter(SE1/4) <br /> and the Southwest quarter (SW1/4) of the Northeast quarter (NE1/4) of <br /> Section eight (8), Township two (2) North, Range sixty-eight (68) West of <br /> the 6'P.M., Weld County, Colorado, together with all of SELLER's right to <br /> existing rights of way and easements for ingress and egress to the property. <br /> Peschel Property <br /> The Peschel property consists of approximately 142 acres. This property is located to the <br /> west of the Sherwood property, an existing permitted mine property.
