No company representative was present at the mine site <br />and accompanied DRMS in the inspection. Weather conditions were clear and the temperature around seventy <br />degrees fahrenheit with ground conditions were mainly dry. There was no activity at the mine site at the time of <br />the inspection. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05 <br />Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10; <br />Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; <br />Drainage — Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br />There are ten total reconstructed drainages along the reclaimed section of the haul road. Each drainage was stable <br />and well protected with rip rap. No issues were observed. <br />PROCESSING WASTE/COAL MINE WASTE PILES — Rule 4.10 and 4.11 <br />Drainage Control; Surface Stabilization; Placement: <br />The waste pile at Munger Canyon Mine is full reclaimed. Vegetation is well established on the pile and no issues <br />were observed. <br />REVEGETATION — Rule 4.15 <br />Vegetative Cover; Timing: <br />Vegetation on site is well established outside of areas that have been recently reclaimed in fall of 2014. These <br />areas do have vegetation success but not to the extent of old reclamation. <br />SIGNS AND MARKERS — Rule 4.02: <br />Mine identification signs were located at the entrance of the site located along the gate. The signs contained all <br />required information for compliance. <br />Disturbance boundary markers were located along all necessary points. Markers were visible within line of sight <br />of each other. <br />
