PERMIT # M-77-O20
OCTOBER 1999
Exhibit H WILDLIFE INFORMATION
No new information is submitted, Wildlife Statement in the
original permit application and the 1997 amendment cover the
broad area around this site, so it also applies to this minor
amendment.
Exhibit I SOILS
The soils found on the north area addition is described in
Exhibit J(d/eo). The site is similar to that described in the
original application. It is along the Gunnison River, the site
is cover by soil types Uh -Uncompahgre fine sandy loam, 0 to 2 percent slopes
(85%) and WA-Alluvial Land, Overflow (15%) . The descriptions used in the
1980 amendment are applicable with this site. Topsoil on this
site averages 3 inches because of the scouring by flood waters.
Exhibit J VEGETATION
The newly added area is currently river bottom area that has
had no specific used at this time. It does contain a yard area
around the Loughrey home and has a typical cover of grasses, and
shrubs as described under the description found in the original
permit. We will use the seed mix recommended for the east parcel
on this site since the conditions are similar.
EXHIBIT K CLIMATE
This information has not changed from that submitted in July
1997.
EXHIBIT L RECLAMATION COSTS
The reclamation cost estimate submitted during adequacy
review in 1997 is still valid since we based the estimate on a
worst case scenario and addition of the new area does not affec
that estimate.
