CO 80203
Re: Schwartzwalder Mine, Permit No. M-1977-300
Water Quality Data and Mine Pool Level Measurements for January 2016
Dear Mr. Cunningham:
Enclosed please find monthly water quality monitoring results and daily mine water level
measurements for the month of January 2016. This submittal represents continuation of routine
monthly reporting of water quality monitoring results and daily mine pool levels. This submittal
also includes data from the new groundwater monitoring wells.
Regarding the mine pool elevations, Cotter is measuring these elevations with a new transducer
system being operated by a contractor. From this point forward, Cotter will be submitting mine
pool elevations as daily averages. An example is provided in the mine pool elevation data
accompanying this letter, in which elevations for January 30 and 31.2016 are presented as daily
averages of multiple individual measurements. Furthermore, because of an apparent calculation
error in the December 2015 mine pool elevations, Cotter is resubmitting that information, as
well.
If you have any questions regarding this submittal please contact me at 719-275-7413.ext. 202.
or by email at steve.cohenotterusa.com.
Sincerely,
Stephen J.
