-2= <br /> Previously stripped and stockpiled topsoil will be placed back <br /> on the portion of the pit area to be revegetated. Expected depth <br /> is from two to four inches. <br /> The seeding to be done will be done in late fall (October- <br /> November) with fertilization performed the following spring upon <br /> germination of the plants. <br /> Livestock cannot get into the pit area, but a three strand <br /> barb wire fence will be built along the highwall as a safety factor. <br /> The haul road from the pit area is used for other Nielson <br /> operations and will not be reclaimed or obliterated. <br /> The initial work to be performed including cleanup, grading, <br /> topsoil placement, seeding and fencing will take approximately <br /> six months to complete, with an actual work time of approximately <br /> twenty days. <br />
