Mr. Mark McLean, P.E. <br /> April 20, 2016 <br /> Page 3 of 5 <br /> DEPLETIONS <br /> Since the source of water is the existing Pueblo East Pit at Evans #2, the stream depletions <br /> were lagged using the same factors as for the gravel pit, <br /> Transmissivity: 100,000 gpd/ft <br /> Specific Yield: 0.2 ft/ft <br /> Distance to river: 1,710 ft <br /> Distance to boundary 5,460 ft <br /> The following Unit Response Function ("URF") was employed to calculate lagged depletions <br /> from pumping pursuant to this SWSP: <br /> Month 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 <br /> Year 1 (%) 22.5 28.0 12.1 7.3 5.8 4.6 4.0 3.4 2.7 2.4 2.0 1.7 <br /> Year 2 (%) 1.4 1.1 1.0 - - - - - - - - - <br /> In accordance with S 37-92-308(5), C.R.S., the depletions associated with this SWSP <br /> cannot exceed five years; therefore, any subsequent renewals of this SWSP will not allow <br /> pumping to occur beyond March 31, 2018, such that stream depletions will not extend <br /> beyond August 19, 2019. <br /> REPLACEMENTS <br /> The total depletions at EWSD I, LLC will not exceed the total depletions allocated in the EWSD <br /> I, LLC SWSP and Booth Well Association plan for augmentation decreed by the Division 2 <br /> Water Court in case no. 08CW12, which is anticipated to be similar to the 477.3 acre-feet of <br /> wellhead depletions allocated in 2015. The depletions will be computed as the pumping from <br /> the EWSD I, LLC wells times their appropriate depletions factors, plus 100 percent of the <br /> deliveries for irrigation from the Pueblo East Pit at Evans #2 dewatering system. Should any <br /> factors change during the plan year under the EWSD I, LLC or Booth plans, the new total <br /> allotted depletions for these four wells will become the new limit under this SWSP. <br /> Replacement for the EWSD I, LLC and Booth irrigation well pumping will continue to be made <br /> as per the EWSD I, LLC SWSP and Booth plan for augmentation currently in place, slightly <br /> reduced to take into account the slightly reduced pumping. Replacement for depletions <br /> resulting from the Pueblo East Pit at Evans #2 dewatering deliveries will be made by AGUA <br /> using any of their fully consumable sources to be delivered to the Arkansas River between <br /> Pueblo Reservoir and Chico Creek. <br /> CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL <br /> This plan is hereby approved pursuant to S37-92-308(5) C.R.S. and the following conditions: <br /> 1. This plan shall be valid from April 1, 2016 through March 31, 2017, unless otherwise <br /> revoked or modified.
