Answers to Rule 3.1.5(9)
(a) After obtaining (TR-02) for M-1989-092 it became apparent that the berm on the
SE of the pit should be kept at it's original height. In order to accomplish this fill
will need to be imported. The pit wall on the NW is too steep and fill will be
needed to bring the slope to 4/1 (see map) for current locations.
(b) Approximately 15,000 cubic yards.
(c) Affidavit on request for(TR) cover sheep.
(d) From now until reclamation is completed.
(e) The fill will be covered with topsoil to generate a 4/1 slope that matches the post
mining plan.
(f) The imported material will be placed with one of the following: a D6, D9
bulldozer, 627 scraper, 144 Cat blade, or 645 loader. Settling and voids are never
a problem due to the type and moisture content of the material to be imported.
