Will this ar*email take care of that or, do I need to submit another letter??
One other thing I wanted to address is that I've REALLY had to LOOK to see the signs that
were put up. They are so far off the road and not very visible and unless a person would
get out of their vehicle and walk to the signs you would never know they were there or
what they said. The word 'notice' is readable but the small print is impossible to read.
Unless this whole topic had been made public no one would have ever paid any attention
to those signs. There are people north of the quarry, too, that would have never known
those signs were there unless they happened to go south for one reason or another. And,
this is how everyone was "notified"—?
I do drive but I'm in a wheelchair so when I've looked for those signs I've had to be extra
careful watching the road and looking for the signs. It would be impossible for me to get
out of my van and wheel up to those signs on the hill. I have observed existing truck traffic
that already does not stop at stop signs and have had to drop back when I'm behind a truck
because rocks are spewing onto the road and onto my car! And, now we're to have even
MORE trucks on the highway doing the same thing?
Concerned...
Thanks,
Mike & Dee Yugovich
4445 Tierra Rojo Drive
Colorado Springs, CO 80926
4/14/2016
