The access road
requires a high clearance vehicle because of vegetation and minor erosion
that's present on the road bed.
EROSION/ SEDIMENTATION
No visible erosion or sedimentation; however, the berm on the south side of
the pit is getting low, which could allow runoff into a creek below.
EXPLOSIVES
N/A
SAFETY
This is not currently and active site, and there are no hazardous headwalls or
features of the site.
ENGINEERING/ GEOLOGIC & STABILITY
CONDITIONS
As mentioned above this site is quite stable.
OTHER LOCAL/ STATE/ FEDERAL REQ. &
COMPLIANCE
OTHER OBSERVATIONS/NOTES
The berm on the southern side of the pit is getting low. Further erosion might
allow sediment from the pit to be swept into a nearby stream, which is
located topographically below the pit on its south side. Additionally, the
stream is located on private land.
