NOTE: This operation is currently going through a process of designating a new
permittee as Mr. Hunt passed away in 2015. This is being handled by Amy Eschberger of
DRMS with the help of Schmidt Construction, the current lessee of the pit. On April 1,
2016 a meeting was held with the administrator of the estate and a plan was developed
to resolve the issues regarding the permit. There will be a Succession of Operator to
some new legal entities who will assume the permit and maintain it until a final
disposition of the property is concluded.
