The Division requests the Operator commit to <br /> the following: <br /> a) The first composite sample shall be collected within 48 hours of activating the cement <br /> kiln with the carbon and lime systems. The composite sample, along with the baseline <br /> sample, shall be sent to a certified laboratory within 24 hours of collection and the results <br /> shall be provided to the Division within 24 hours of receipt. <br /> b) The second and third samples shall be collected at one week intervals from the first <br /> sampling event. The samples shall be sent to a certified laboratory within 24 hours of <br /> collection and the results shall be provided to the Division within 24 hours of receipt. <br /> 3. Please specify the date the cement kiln will begin to operate with the newly added carbon and <br /> lime systems. <br /> 4. The Applicant has committed to stockpiling CKD within C-Pit in a manner which will <br /> distinguish it from capping material and existing C-Pit CKD. Please provide additional detail <br /> on how the CKD will be segregated within C-Pit. In addition,please describe any additional <br /> measures necessary to ensure containment of the temporary stockpile of CKD within C-Pit, <br /> e.g. additional dust suppression. <br /> As previously mentioned, if you are unable to provide satisfactory responses to any inadequacies <br /> prior to the decision date (April 7, 2016), it will be your responsibility to request an extension <br /> of time to allow for continued review of this application.
