4/5/2016 State.co.us Executive Branch Mail - Fwd: Bowie No. 2 Mine, C-1996-083, SL -1, Bowie No. 2 Mine Complete Reclamation Cost Estimate <br />As of March 28, 2016, the Division estimates reclamation liability at the Bowie No. 2 Mine is $12,012,802.94. <br />This amount is sufficient to assure completion of the remaining reclamation work at the site if the work had to be <br />performed by the Division, including the cost of re-establishing vegetation on any revegetated areas, should <br />those areas fail. This amount is $52,501.91 lower than the previous required liability.
