The required renewal fee of $257.00 for this SWSP has been received under <br />receipt no. 3672688. The applicants shall be responsible for compliance with this plan, but <br />the State Engineer's Office may also pursue the landowner for eventual compliance. <br />PLAN OPERATION <br />The gravel operation is located east of Pueblo between Highway 50 and the Arkansas River. <br />This pit did not exist, and no ground water was exposed, prior to January 1, 1981. The <br />operation consists of several phases as shown in the attached Figure 1. Currently, mining in <br />Phases 1 has been completed and Transit Mix is in the process of reclaiming the area by <br />backfilling the pit. Mining in Phase 2 has also been completed and has been lined with an <br />approved slurry wall per January 9, 2012 correspondence from the Division 2 Assistant <br />Engineer. Mining is now progressing in Phase 7, which began in December 2012, and is <br />currently the main active mining area on the site.
