NIELSONS , INC . - CRAIG PIT <br /> EXHIBIT "A" - LOCATION <br /> The Craig pit is located approximately 6 miles south of Durango, <br /> in La Plata County , Colorado in Section 9U, T . 34 N., R . 9 W. , N . M. P . M. <br /> EXHIBIT "C" - MINING PLAN <br /> This pit will not be operated year around, but will be used as <br /> required for private and/or public work . <br /> The existing topsoil will be removed with Scrapers or Dozers <br /> and stockpiled as required. <br /> Gravel will be fed to a crusher , processed as required and <br /> stockpiled fov future use . Material rejected in the crushing opera- <br /> tion will be disposed of in the pit area. <br /> EXHIBIT "D" - ESTIMATED TIMETABLE <br /> This pit will be worked approximately two months per year , but <br /> material will be stockpiled and hauled from the site throughout the <br /> year. <br /> Approximately three or four acres will be affedted in any one year . <br /> EXHIBIT "F" - WATER RESOURCES <br /> No surface or ground water is present at the Craig Pit . There- <br /> fore, it is felt that operation of the pit , will have no effect on <br /> Water Resources. <br /> It is assumed that no permits will be required from the Colorado <br /> Water Quality Control Division , however, that division has been <br /> notified of the proposed pit site to insure their compliance . <br /> EXHIBIT "G" - RECLAMATION PLAN <br /> Topsoil at this site varies in depth from zero to several feet <br /> thick and contains some cobble . (See report by the Soil Conservation <br /> Service for Detailed analysis . ) This material will be removed as <br />
