MINED LAND RECLAMATION BOARD 110(2)ANNUAL REPORT
For Season 2015
TOPAZ MOUNTAIN GEM CLAIM
PERMIT NO. M-2002-003
15 March 2016
Summary:
I operated mechanized equipment at Topaz Mountain Gem Claim a total of 14 days between 23
May and 29 Aug 2015. I used a backhoe for 2 days and a small track hoe for 12 days.
Additionally, I used a mechanical shaker on and off throughout the season. Digging by hand
occurred throughout the season between 23 May and 29 Sep. Unauthorized diggers continue to
mineral trespass and dig holes throughout the season when I am not present on site.
Map Depicting 2015 Operations:
Attached is a map depicting current and existing disturbances on Rubeck Placer and Rubeck
Placer No. 2 claims. Current and existing disturbances are indicated by red-dotted lines.
Current Disturbances 2015:
Site B/C was expanded to a total disturbance of 0.82 acre. Previous disturbances total an
additional 0.92 acre. Again, approximately an additional 1,000 square feet was disturbed by
unauthorized mineral trespass. Total disturbance, including access roads, not reclaimed is 2.35
acres of 4.5 permitted acres.
Reclamation Accomplished to Date (Including 2014 Reclamation):
Approximately 2,500 square feet of current disturbances is reclaimed.
There is approximately 7,000 square feet (0.16 acre)total of unauthorized dig sites which will be
reclaimed as I continue mining. These are in an area where topsoil was previously removed in
preparation for mining. All topsoil has been stored and these disturbances are all within the
permit site.
Reclamation Accomplished during 2015:
No new reclamation was accomplished in 2015. Soil piles were seeded with approved native
grass seed to further stabilize. Soil piles previously stored have varying degrees of vegetation.
