Permitted Areas <br />During 2015, 716.58 acres of land was released from the permit by CDRMS. The areas <br />released included a large portion of the South Waste Rock Area, all of Waste Rock D, a <br />portion of the Mill Area, all of the East Pit, a large portion of Waste Rock C, a portion of the <br />West Pit Area, and undisturbed lands as shown in Exhibit 1. A reduction of 716.58 acres from <br />the Permit Area (1,765.86 acres) resulted in a new Permit Area of 1,049.28 acres. Of the <br />716.58 acres that were released, 140.1 acres were reclaimed disturbed areas and 576.48 acres <br />were undisturbed areas. Water level data and/or laboratory analytical <br />results were submitted to CDRMS on a monthly basis throughout 2015 and are also included <br />in Appendix A of this report. Sampling and laboratory analyses for groundwater monitoring <br />well M-14 also continued under the CDRMS approved Response Plan during 2015.
