Compliance With Mine Plan N - Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> N -Other NA - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> R -Processing Waste N -Topsoil <br /> COMMENTS <br /> This was a complete inspection by Leigh Simmons of the Division of Reclamation,Mining and Safety <br /> (Division). Jessica Loveland of Mountain Coal Company(MCC)accompanied the inspection. The weather was <br /> clear with a little new snow on the ground, and deep drifts in shady spots. The main facilities were accessible. <br /> The mine was active,but the longwall was parked at the time of the inspection. <br /> AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS—Rule 5.02.4(l): <br /> Records were available in Kathy Welt's office. Detailed comments are made at the end of this report. <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE-Rule 4.05 <br /> Drainage Control 4.05.1,4.05.2,4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5,4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7,4.05.10; <br /> Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; <br /> Drainage—Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6,4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> Although the snow cover was noticeably less than on recent inspections,the significant snow-melt runoff <br /> had not yet occurred. Seasonal ditch maintenance was pending. <br /> GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br /> The project to construct rock slopes to access the B-Seam from the E-seam was in progress. <br /> In the E-Seam,the longwall had been stationary since March 3,2016. It was parked between cross-cuts 51 <br /> and 52 of panel E6;the continuous miners were operating in the E7 head-gate between cross-cuts 31 and 32. SL- <br /> 09 bond release application has been deemed complete,but further action is delayed until the snowpack has melted <br /> sufficiently to allow an inspection,possibly in early June or in August. <br /> RN-07 Permit Renewal application was found complete on February 1, 2016. It is currently under review <br /> by the Division.
