The weather was clear, cool, and
windy. The ground was dry.
HYDROLOGIC BALANCE -Rule 4.05
Drainage Control 4.05.1,4.05.2,4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5,4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7,4.05.10;
Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13;
Drainage—Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8;Impoundments 4.05.6,4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18:
Ponds 4 and 5 were both dry and no problems were seen with these ponds.
The BMPs near the gravel lot do not currently need maintenance.
The freeboard in the Magpie Ditch was measured with a laser rangefinder. The elevation of the low point of the
berm that forms the ditch was found to be 2.5 feet higher than the top of the large culvert under the road to GEC.
This was a conservative estimate—the elevation difference could be as much as three feet or more.
Two culverts along the road to the Monarch Fan were inspected(the one where the"sock"was replaced with
riprap and the nearest one to the south), and no problems were seen. The riprap appears stable,and the sock is in
place. Neither culvert was found to contain more than minimal sediment.
Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 6
Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 3
Page 2 of 6
