The first five year term of Temporary <br />Cessation expired on February 16, 2016. A second five year term of Temporary Cessation may <br />be pursued by submitting a Notice in accordance with Rule 1.13.5(3). The Notice shall <br />demonstrate the continued commitment to conduct mining at the site by the end of the second <br />five year period. If the Operator does not intend to conduct any further mining at the site, then <br />reclamation of the site should commence in accordance with Rule 3.1.3. <br />Therefore, the Lyons Quarry is no longer in Temporary Cessation and is considered to be active <br />as of February 16, 2016. No further action is required on the part of the Operator.
