New Horizon Mine
4.0 CONCLUSIONS and RECOMMENDATIONS
Revegetation evaluation in 2015 revealed that the Irrigated Pasture units are performing as
expected. The 2008 (Year 7) unit already passes the bond release criteria for ground cover. The 2013
(Year 2) unit exhibits an elevated annual J biennial plant population, which is common for young
reclamation but appears to be on a trajectory to pass bond release standards by year 9 and 10.
However, the presence of noxious weeds should be monitored and treated as needed. It is
recommended that monitoring continue as scheduled to ascertain additional data relative to the
performance of revegetation as it pertains to bond release standards.
CEDAR CREEK ASSOCIATI-N, Inc. 13 New Horizon Mine
2015 Interim RevegetaGon Evafua6on
2015 Annual Reclamation Report Page 32
