SH3 (north -central)
This area included a single large oval-shaped depression about 25 feet long and less than 20 feet
wide. The eastern and northeastern edge of this area was open to underground and could have
allowed underground access to animals. At the east end of this site the bank was at most 4 feet
tall and on the western end the north bank was about 1-2 feet tall. A smaller depression area and
some cracks in the soil surface adjacent this area also had rock and woody debris added to fill or
partially fill these areas. This area had 960 pounds of concrete added along with about two tons
of rock from adjacent areas and areas upslope.
Figure 6.
