SH2 (east) <br />This subsidence area was on a relatively flat slope and consisted of an area of less than 3-4 feet <br />deep on all sides. There were evidence that nearby sediment had partially filled this area before <br />and after branches and rocks were added. Since this subsidence area was relatively shallow and <br />provided no access underground, few rocks and branches were used to partially fill this area. <br />Some rock was placed among some natural occurring boulders to reduce water flow from this <br />area. The added woody material may also slow down water flow through this subsidence area; <br />the area will eventual fill or partially fill with sediment from upslope. <br />Figure 4.
