PERMIT#: M-1997-065
INSPECTOR'S INITIALS: MAC
INSPECTION DATE: April 23,2015
Revegetation:
The Division observed diffuse knapweed along the haul road between the northern quarry area and the
overburden stockpile at the northeast corner of the site. The diffuse knapweed appears to be confined to the
edges of the haul road and has not yet spread to the unaffected pastureland surround the site. Diffuse
knapweed is noxious weed and is on the Colorado Noxious Weed List B. The Operator does not have a Weed
Control Plan in place to treat noxious weeds. The presence of noxious weeds at the site has been cited as a
problem and will require corrective action by the Operator; please see the first page of this report for
additional information.
Signs and Markers:
The permit sign was posted at the site entrance and the boundary of the affected area was clearly delineated.
The Division did not make any observations which would prevent the approval of the Amendment Application.
This concluded the inspection.
