-
Streeter Fill.
FISH and WILDLIFE—Rule 4.18:
While wildlife cannot be observed from the aerial photographs,numerous game trails can be observed through the
snow cover and reclaimed section of the Colowyo Mine.
HYDROLOGIC BALANCE -Rule 4.05
Drainage Control 4.05.1,4.05.2,4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5,4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7,4.05.10;
Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13;
Drainage—Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6,4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18:
The Streeter Pond held water at the time of the inspection. The pond embankments remains stable and are
vegetated. Due to the distance of the aerial photograph, it cannot be determined of the pond was discharging.
The Gulch A Pond was partially snow covered.Vegetation can be observed at the base of the pond which indicates
it was holding little to no water at the time of the inspection with no discharge.No signs of erosion, sloughing or
instability can be observed along the pond embankments. The East Side/Streeter South Side Collection Ditches
that direct surface runoff to the Gulch A Pond appears to be functioning properly conveying snow melt to the
pond.
The Streeter Pond is snow covered and appears to be holding water. Due to the distance of the photograph,it is
unsure of the pond was discharging at the time of the inspection. The pond embankment was visible and not snow
covered. The embankment is well vegetated and no signs of erosion is observed.
General overview photographs of reclaimed sections show furlough and primary ditches working as intended.
Snow melt can be observed within ditch channels with no visible erosion down slope from the ditches.
